Ethique In Your Face Solid Facial Cleanser Review

Going into the new year one of my beauty resolutions is to use more solid beauty and reduce my use of plastics where possible. This will be challenging as much of the products on the market are in plastic but the solid beauty space is on the up, offering a good range to choose from!

With this in mind, I've been trying to be more conscious with my beauty buys and only buy things I really need and making sure I recycle or upcycle packaging too.

Ethique In Your Face Solid Cleanser Review

I ran out of my favourite facial cleanser (Sukin Foaming Cleanser) so I thought it was a good time to try something new so I ordered some Ethique In Your Face Cleanser. I previously used Ethique's conscious and concentrated Gingersnap Sugar Scrub (which is divine!) and their Dry Skin and Hair Trial Kit so had high hopes for the In Your Face Solid Cleanser.

Ethique In Your Face Solid Facial Cleanser has a subtle scent and a light lather. It combines sea salt, bentonite, kaolin, coconut oil, mandrin, sweet orange and cocoa butter to gently cleanse normal to oily skin.

Ethique's packaging is plastic-free and certified combustible. Plus, they are vegan and cruelty free and palm oil free.

I've been using this soap-free, ph-balanced formula for over three weeks now and so far so good as I've had no skin reactions. I can't comment on whether or not it removes makeup up because I haven't worn makeup up for a while but it does remove dirt and impurities. To use, I simply wet the bar and my face and rub the bar between my hands then apply the lather to my face and rinse.

Have you tried any solid beauty products? I'd love to know, let me know in the comments...

Thanks for stopping by!
